Drake: Fresh off a turbulent stop in Vancouver, the Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour arrives in town as Drake brings a bevy of hits and spectacular visual display to Rogers Place for the first of back-to-back nights. Atlanta-based trio Migos serves as more than an opening act, less than a co-headliner, providing plenty of bounce in support of the Toronto hitmaker. Expect a packed house full of fans eager to provide the backing vocals for some raucous singalongs.

Details: 7 p.m., Rogers Place, $77 and up, available from Ticketmaster

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical: When it comes to songwriting, most of the general public’s practical experience is limited to the childhood perversion of Jingle Bells lyrics. Carole King, however, is a master of the craft. Beautiful – The Carole King Musical takes viewers on a tour through her songwriting legacy, which includes instantly recognizable hits Some Kind of Wonderful, One Fine Day, Loco-Motion, You’ve Got a Friend, You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman, and others that paved the path for her Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 1990.

Details: 8 p.m., Jubilee Auditorium, $45 and up, available from Ticketmaster

Mary Walsh: Newfoundland native Mary Walsh has kept people laughing during a career spanning more than 30 years, from her earliest days in acting and sketch comedy to the creation of beloved characters — including take-no-prisoners political pundit Marg Delahunty — on the CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes. She also released her first novel last year, Crying for the Moon, about a young woman coming of age in late 1960s Newfoundland.

Details: 7:30 p.m., Festival Place, $36 to $40, available at the box office or in advance from the Festival Place website

Mary Walsh brings her comedy to the Festival Place stage Nov. 6.
