Your prayers have been answered, Edmonton.

You won’t have to fly to Vancouver to get a view of Drake’s Summer Sixteen tour — the hip-hop/R&B star is adding YEG to his itinerary.

He’ll perform Sept. 20 at Rogers Place, making him the first non-country act announced for the new arena. Tickets range from $49.50 to $149.50 plus service charges. On sale: May 26 at Ticketmaster.

UPDATE: He’s just announced a second show — on Sept. 21. Also on sale Thursday.

The Toronto artist and Raptors ambassador recently released his latest opus, Views, and dazzled as the host and musical act on Saturday Night Live.

Joining Drake in Edmonton are opening acts Future, Roy Woods and DVSN.

The other previously announced shows for the new Rogers Place are Keith Urban (Sept. 16), Dolly Parton (Sept. 17),  Dixie Chicks (Sept. 29) and Florida Georgia Line (Nov. 18).
