Like the release of his album, hip-hop/R&B star Drake is pushing back the date of his Sept. 30 show at Rexall Place.
The former Degrassi actor, and current obsession of Amanda Bynes, will now perform Sunday, Dec. 1, with rapper Future and loose-legged singer Miguel. All tickets will be honoured for the new date, but if you can’t make it, refunds are available at point of purchase. (Tix are still available via Ticketmaster.)
The show, which is part of Drake’s Would You Like A Tour? tour, is being delayed because the release of his third album, Nothing Was The Same, was moved from Sept. 17 to 24, according to concert promoter, Live Nation. (We’ll now refer to his Edmonton date as part of his Would You Like A Show Two Months Later Than Planned? tour.)
Drake’s Sept. 29 gig at the Saddledome in Calgary is also getting pushed back — to Nov. 30 — while his Oct. 2 date at the Credit Union Centre Saskatoon is being cancelled. Slow ticket sales?
UPDATE on Sept. 20: His Oct. 3 date in Winnipeg is also cancelled.
